Florida Canes Dominican Republic International Tour – June 2026

📍 Overview

The Florida Canes Dominican Republic International Tour is a unique baseball and cultural experience designed to develop our players on and off the field.

This tour gives our athletes the opportunity to:

Compete against high-level Dominican teams

Train in a baseball-rich environment

Experience Dominican culture

Build character, discipline, and independence

Represent Florida Canes internationally

This is more than a trip.

It is an experience that shapes players for life. 🇩🇴🔥

June 21 – June 26, 2026

🗺️ Travel Schedule & Locations

During the week, teams will travel to different regions of the Dominican Republic to compete and train.

Tentative Schedule:

Sunday: Games in Santo Domingo

Monday: Games in Villa Altagracia

Tuesday: Games in San Pedro de Macorís

Wednesday: Boca Chica & Juan Dolió (Training / MLB Academy Visit / Beach Recovery)

Thursday: Games in Santo Domingo

Friday: Final Games in Santo Domingo / Departure Prep

(Schedule may be adjusted slightly based on opponents and facilities.)

⚾ Baseball Competition & Training

Players will participate in:

Competitive international games

Organized team practices

Skill development sessions

Baseball education opportunities

Possible MLB academy visit

Our goal is to expose players to the Dominican style of play while continuing Florida Canes’ development philosophy.

This helps players:

✔️ Increase confidence

✔️ Learn to compete internationally

✔️ Grow mentally and emotionally

🏨 Lodging & Transportation

Players and staff will stay at safe, reputable hotels in Santo Domingo and surrounding areas.

Flights will be responsibility of families. Hotels will be paid at check-in by each family for their rooms. Group rates have been set and provided to our teams.

Transportation includes:

Private charter buses to and from hotel from Sunday to Friday to all fields.

Daily team transportation

All travel is coordinated and supervised by Florida Canes staff.

Airport to hotel will be responsibility of families due to players arriving from various flights and various dates and times.

Safety and organization are top priorities. 🛡️⚾

The tour includes:

Daily team meals at fields

Hotel breakfasts

Organized group dining

Hydration and recovery support
